MAKING HIS SPORTS T-SHIRT INTO HERS

MAKING HIS SPORTS T-SHIRT INTO HERS

Many times we woman want to support the same sport team as our spouse. As a women I enjoy a little of both worlds, however I do not want to hide my female curves by wearing a man’s T-shirt. One of the problems with finding sports attire is that there is limited choices of of women sport T-shirt styles compared to the choices that men have. Even though sport teams have made a better attempt to create more fashionable women styles, the prices are ridiculously expensive. A tank top with your favorite sports team logo on it can run 40$ and up.  This is to high price when I know I can get a similar style for half the price. How can one get way with paying half the price you ask?

Step One: go to any store that sells T-shirts with the logo of your favorite team. Purchase the sports T-shirt (it can be a male or female shirt) you like based on your size. Do not worry about how the shirt style looks on you because the following steps will help the shirt fit your body.

Step Two: This step requires the use of scissors. Lay your T-shirt out on a flat surface where you will be able to cut. The first step is to remove the sleeves. Cut along the seams of the sleeve removing the extra stitching. Repeat the same step for each sleeve.

Step Three: Now you are ready to remove the collar. Start at the back of the T-shirt by cutting along the line across the collar. Then cut along the seams of the collar removing any extra stitching. Keep the removed collar as you will need that piece in a further step.

Step Four: Once the collar has been removed you can convert your T-shirt into a V-neck for a more feminine look. Place your T-shirt on the flat surface so that the front of the shirt is facing up. Then turn the shirt upside down so that the collar part is closest to you. Now you will cut and upside down “V” in the center of the collar. The amount you cut is up to you depending on how much bust you wish to expose.

Step Five: Turn the shirt over so that the back is facing up. Using the remaining collar string insert the string into one of the arm hole and pull it out of the other arm hole. Next bring the collar string ends together towards the center and tie a bow.

Now you have turned a regular T-shirt into a shirt that is girly and form-fitting while still representing your favorite sports team.
